I’m thrilled to announce that my website has been treated to a fabulous makeover, through the genius of designer Joe Pignati. Please check it out — and give me your feedback, pro and con, by clicking on the “comments” link below this blog entry. We’ll keep amending and tinkering the site based on what we hear back from visitors.
And please also check out my brand-new online store — which you can reach through my website, or by clicking here. You will find there — available for the first time — the fantastic concert-film DVD of my monologue Red Diaper Baby, along with the Red Diaper Baby book (which contains the text of that piece plus two others, Haiku Tunnel and The Mathematics of Change). Hi Josh,
I love your new website, but i wish the coffee did something when i moved my mouse over it! I really like flash oriented websites, but i know they aren’t for everyone. Some people i know (some quite close to me) actually disdain flash websites, and tend to growl at them. I guess these people… um or person, prefer simple website layouts that are more in-line with their simple (boring) artistic tastes. I, on the other hand, feel that websites should use more then just words and pictures to communicate with its visitors. Your new website seems perfectly suited for a more sophisticated type visitor that has a greater and deeper understanding of the content at hand. Despite what “some” people might say about websites that make an attempt to break away from the realm of boring, I really like it! Keep up the good work!

I hate Flash, and uninstalled it from my computer. I don’t visit sites that use it.

Wow, that’s quite a change. Well, personally I prefer much more simple web sites without all the fancy Flash stuff, but the desk with coffee and PDA motif is cute…
